The essay contest allows patients to nominate an ITNS transplant nurse who has made a difference in their lives.
Who can enter?
Any transplant patient currently or formerly under the care of a transplant nurse who is a member of ITNS. Ask your nurse or transplant coordinator if he/she is a member of ITNS.

What is the theme of the essay?
The subject is “My Transplant Nurse: My Guiding Light!”. What is unique about your nominee? Why is he or she important to you and/or your family? How did your nominee make a difference in your life?

How long should the essay be?
The essay should be between 300-500 words in length and be formatted to fit on one page.

What do I need to submit?
• An essay between 300-500 words focusing on the topic, “My Transplant Nurse: My Guiding Light!”. Each essay must be original, authentic, unpublished, and the sole property of the entrant.
• Your personal information should be printed in the top right corner of the essay:
– First and last name
– Address
– Phone
– Email
• The attached completed entry form
